'The Readers Imagination Garden'

This post gives details of one of the show gardens that second year students garden design students will be constructing for Gardening Scotland,  at the end of May.  We are very excited about this literary themed show garden which was designed by Kellie Mac Andrews.

Description of the Garden

"Welcome to the readers imagination garden. This garden is intended to encourage literacy and creative thinking for all ages.

Taking inspiration from works of literature and writer's gardens, the style of planting reflects a woodland glade which has been adapted for a garden setting.

The design features a Chesterfield chair on a turntable, an outdoor library, and a still pool reflecting images of the sky bringing this vast imaginative space down to earth."
